The Purpose of The EANGTN
- To organize all enlisted persons and work together for the purpose of advancing the standing, prestige, and social welfare of the National Guard.
- To improve the position and status of the enlisted members in their relationship with the civilian community as well as in a military environment.
- To develop and promote legislation designed to obtain these purposes.
Types of EANGTN Membership
Active Membership
Any enlisted person serving in the Tennessee Army or Air National Guard…either on active or inactive duty…on a paid or non-paid drill status…or retired, with or without pay…is eligible for ACTIVE membership which includes membership in EANGUS.
Associate Membership
Active or Retired Tennessee National Guard officers and officers of regular components, enlisted NG members of OTHER states (active or retired), and civilians are eligible for ASSOCIATE membership. Life Associate Memberships may be purchased for a one-time fee that is 5 times the dues for an associate annual membership fee.

Life Membership – one time fee of $210
NGAT GROUP INSURANCE PROGRAM
You have the opportunity to take advantage of an outstanding Group Insurance Program which is available and sponsored by NGAT. Premiums may be payroll deducted from your monthly National Guard paychecks; there are no exclusions to this policy (No War Clause, No Suicide clause, No Aviation Exclusion, No Riot Clause, and No Hazardous Duty Restrictions). In other words, it covers you twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days a years, regardless of the cause of death. Available coverage range from $10,000-$50,000 on the Guard member; $5,000 or $10,000 on each Dependent; and $5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 on the Spouse. Spouse and Dependent coverage may be continued at the same premium after the death of a Guard member! NGAT provides $10,000 coverage to each new accession in the Tennessee National Guard for the first twelve months of their enlistment or appointment, and free $1,000 coverage to all active members of the Tennessee National Guard. NGAT also sponsors a Group Cancer Plan which is available to each Guard member, their Spouse, and Dependent Children.
ANNUAL DUES
Annual Dues of the Associations must be paid on an anniversary year basis (if membership is renewed 15 July, it will expire the following year on 15 July). Annual dues for E1-E6 are $17 and E7-E9 are $42. With payment of these dues you become a member of two organizations, the Enlisted Association of Tennessee (EANGTN), and the Enlisted Association of the United States (EANGUS).
SUPPORT THE EANGTN AND EANGUS PROGRAMS
How can you participate? By attending the Annual General Conferences of EANGTN and EANGUS and becoming involved in their affairs; by actively campaigning for positions of leadership and directorship in both Associations; by serving on committees of both Associations; and by payment of your annual dues to both Associations, which are used to support the diversified activities and programs sponsored by each.
